Salmon Viewing on the Mashel River
Date: Sunday, October 1st, 11am – 1pm
Visit the Mashel River and see Chinook and Pink salmon make their way upstream to spawn! Watch the salmon instream on the last part of their journey to spawn. Staff will be standing by the river ready to point out the salmon and answer your questions! Participants will see how restoration in the river has created salmon habitat, learn about the salmon life cycle, and much more!
We don’t know exactly when the salmon will be in this portion of the river, but sign up in advance to get a notice when they are spotted and a date is set!
