Honorary Gifts & Memorial Tributes

A sapling sprouts from the stump of a long-dead tree on the Powell Creek Uplands property of the Nisqually Land TrustConservation: The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Celebrate special people, holidays, and momentous events in your life with the timeless gift of conservation. With your gift to the Nisqually Land Trust, you can honor those you love and admire by making a forever gift in their name for special days like birth days, graduations, holidays, and memorials. When you donate a gift in honor of someone, we’ll send them a personalized dedication card. It’s a beautiful way to let your loved ones know the impact they’ve made, and will continue to make.

Your gift will:

Help bring back our Salmon and Orcas

Your gift helps protect all five salmon species native to the Nisqually Watershed, including Chinook salmon and steelhead trout, both of which are listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. And it helps recover our threatened orcas, too!

Protect cool, clean water

If you live in Olympia or Lacey, most of your domestic water comes from the Nisqually Watershed! And the Nisqually River itself is the largest source of fresh water for South Puget Sound.

Protect and Steward the Land

The Land Trust has protected over 7,700 acres of critical wildlife habitat. We buy it once, but we steward it forever! Your gift helps us get people out on the land and adopt it as their own.

$1000 leverages grant funding to permanently protect five acres of land (you can choose to protect more!)
$500 buys 500 native trees and shrubs for volunteers to plant for habitat restoration and carbon sequestration
$250 hosts a Nature Education event – a public tour or panel discussion of Land Trust conservation projects
$100 buys tools and supplies for our hardworking volunteers – and we can’t do our work without them!
