Important update! If you participated in last year’s auction, you will have to update your account password and card on file, then log in again by selecting the link to this year’s auction found below. Sorry for the confusion; thank you for your patience.

Our 2024 Online Silent Auction opens on Saturday, June 1st and closes on Sunday, June 9th at 6 pm.

We are using the top provider of virtual auction services, Greater Giving, for our auction. It is secure, easy to use on mobile devices and computers, and has all the features you need for a fun and straightforward bidding experience! Here are some tips to help you bid and donate on our auction site.

When you arrive on the auction page, you will see a big button that says Get Started.

Click the Get Started button to create a bidding account. If you have participated in auctions on the Greater Giving platform in the past, it will simply ask you to confirm your account info. Once you are logged in to the auction, the Get Started button will no longer appear, so if you don’t see it, that means you are ready to bid!

We are gratefully accepting donations to our Forever Fund directly on the auction page. This fund is vital for the continuation of our land stewardship work. Near the top of the auction page, you will see this button to donate to the Forever Fund. Click on it to make your contribution. Our many supporters in the community truly make this work possible. Thank you!

Browsing the items in our auction is as easy as scrolling down the page! More items will appear as you scroll, so take your time, and enjoy the shopping experience!

When you see an item you wish to bid on, or learn more about, just click on it to see the item description and details. Below the item picture are the bidding buttons. Bidding works incrementally, so the first button shows you the lowest bidding increment currently available for the item.

The second button (Bid More) allows you to set a bid that is higher than the next increment, or to set a maximum bid for the item. For example, if the next available increment is $162, but you wish to go as high as $500 for the item, click this Bid More button, and then set a Max Bid, at $500. Make sure to complete this action by clicking Set Max Bid (rather than the Place Bid button). The auction system will then record your bid, at the next increment to put you in first place on the item, and it will automatically raise your bid, incrementally, until it reaches your maximum amount. This is a great way to stay in the lead on any item you love, without having to return to the item if someone outbids you.

During the week-long auction, if someone outbids you on any item, you will receive a text/email alerting you to this fact. This is when the excitement builds, as you decide your next move as a bidder. Naturally, we encourage you to step up to the challenge and place a new bid!

For winning bidders, you may either pick up your items at the Land Trust office on any Tuesday or Thursday following the Auction between 10AM and 3PM, or please arrange to stop by at another time by emailing , or we’d be happy to come to you at an agreed upon time.
