Watershed Stewards

Our Watershed Stewards program recognizes generous donors who make a one-time or cumulative gift of $1,000 in any calendar year.

Gifts at this level can:

  • Permanently conserve seven acres of land by leveraging your donations through grants.
  • Purchase 1,000 native trees and shrubs for habitat restoration.
  • Allow us to host two Nature Walks on our lands, which allows the public to see the wild and scenic places we conserve.

Watershed Stewards will be invited to join us for an evening yacht cruise to see the ambitious new work the Land Trust is doing to protect south Puget Sound shorelines and marine habitat.

Your gift can be a one-time gift or spread over a calendar year and include:

  • One-time cash contribution
  • Cumulative cash donations
  • Auction item donation (note: amount credited towards the $1000 is the item sale price at our auction)
  • Item purchased at our annual auction (note: amount credited towards the $1,000 is the amount paid over the retail value of the item)
  • Any combination of the above.

For example, a land trust supporter makes the following contributions in a calendar year:

  • $250 in cumulative cash donations
  • $150 for an auction item donation that sold for $150 at our event
  • $600 for an auction item purchased for $1,600 that had a retail value of $1,000
