Restoring Salmon Habitats on the Mashel River

A great video by the Bethel School District about the recent school plantings we’ve been hosting on our properties! Students from 3rd grade to 8th grade helped plant over 4,000 native trees and shrubs along the Mashel River and Ohop Creek. Thanks to the Nisqually River Education Project for getting these students on the ground!

Science students from Frontier Middle School and members of Bethel’s Native American program traveled to Eatonville to work alongside AmeriCorps and the Nisqually Land Trust as they planted trees along the Mashel River, a tributary of the Nisqually River.
