Middle Reach Nisqually Float Trips – Cancelled
We’re disappointed that we had to cancel the upcoming river float trips.
During the scout trip to assess current river conditions, our outfitters discovered a few hazardous places that could jeopardize the safety of all participants. Our professional outfitters made the hard but clear decision to call the trip off. The safety and well-being of our supporters is our foremost concern.
The river is a dynamic, constantly changing system which is what makes it a great habitat for river critters, but which also makes it challenging to predict what we will encounter on a float. This is why our outfitters always do a safety check float just a short time before the event.
