Experience the wildest stretch of the Nisqually River up close, right on the water! Join the Nisqually Land Trust to float the river’s seldom-seen upper 13 miles.
This family-friendly trip is rated for adults and children 60 pounds and up and is professionally outfitted and guided by Alpine Adventures. It will last from four to five hours, depending on river conditions, and includes a catered riverbank lunch.
Rafting is the best way to see Nisqually River’s wildest and most scenic reaches – and its eagles, hawks, deer, and other wildlife.
This 13-mile trip passes along several Land Trust properties, including the three-mile length of one of the Land Trust’s largest holdings, Powell Creek, which includes majestic stands of mature forest. Nearly every mile along this stretch of river is permanently protected by the Land Trust or our partners and is a beautiful illustration of what cooperative conservation can achieve.
